06B-AnthonyChen

From March 13th to 16th, Rémy Martin had the pleasure to support the Center for Asian American Media Film Festival, also known as CAAMFest in San Francisco. As the Premier sponsor, Rémy Martin participated in three grand events, which included the Opening Ceremony and Reception, VIP Dinner at the Hilton Hotel, and the Centerpiece VIP Reception and Awards Ceremony.

This year, Alan Way, Senior Director of Asian Marketing, gave Anthony Chen the Rémy Martin Filmmaker Award for his film ILO ILO. Set with a beautiful cinematography and a moving storyline, this film is about a close relationship between a Singaporean family and their newly arrived Filipino maid. ILO ILO also won the prestigious Camera d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and will be released in the U.S. on April 4, 2014. To view the trail, visit http://www.iloilomovie.com/

Rémy Martin is proud to award Mr Chan for his work and achievements, and congratulates CAAMFest for hosting a successful festival. We look forward to seeing more Asian American independent films.

Rémy Martin is excited to partner with the Center for Asian American Media Festival (CAAMFest) this year in San Francisco. The festival begins from March 14 through March 24, 2014. Originally founded as the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival in 1982, CAAMFest is the largest showcase for Asian-American independent filmmakers in the U.S.

The partnership manifests not only Rémy Martin’s continuing commitment to support Asian American arts and cultural events, more importantly, an effort to increase Rémy Martin’s brand presence and influence in a younger generation amongst Asian American community.

Rémy Martin will be the Exclusive Liquor Sponsor for the entire festival; brand presence and tasting opportunities from opening night gala at the magnificent Asian Art Museum on March 13, to the festival’s finale, the award ceremony on March 16 in the Castro Theater. Rémy Martin will be presenting a branded filmmaker award to an outstanding Asian American filmmaker or artist. Who will win our award? Stay tune…
